Tylersville and Kingsgate Signal Design

As a subconsultant to IBI Group, TEC completed a full signal design at the intersection of Tylersville Road and Kingsgate Road in Butler County, Ohio. The design included a mast arm signal with stop bar radar detection, illuminated signs and wireless interconnect. In addition, TEC designed overhead sign structures on traffic signal mast arms (assumed illuminated signs). Our project team utilized the basemap and identified all pole locations on the roadway plan. TEC’s work consisted of the design of wiring diagrams, signal details, general notes, lighting design, quantities and cost estimations. The signal design included a flashing yellow arrow, one of the first of its kind in Ohio.
