STW Safety Studies (PID 92102, 92103, 90550)
TEC completed multiple task orders for a statewide safety study task order contract. In association with DLZ, TEC completed crash data reviews, existing conditions analyses, geometric evaluation and access management. TEC also provided signal timing tasks and traffic volume evaluations. Under this contract, TEC used innovative ideas to address safety problems. We deployed ReACTS (remote accident capture and alert system) technology at the intersection of James and Main in Columbus. We also developed a stop sign violation system for the City of Columbus.
