Refugee Road Safety Study

TEC completed a safety study along Refugee Road between Hill Road and Toll Gate Road. The study consisted of data collection (existing geometry, roadway conditions, traffic observations, etc.), traffic counts, crash analysis and collision diagrams, capacity analyses, and intersection evaluation. TEC utilized the results of the crash and capacity analysis to develop recommendations for the corridor. We also developed a cost-benefit analysis based on the recommendations. Following the safety study completion, our team also assisted with a Highway Safety Program funding application.
