Fleckenstein Park Bike Trail Extension

TEC assisted the City of Mason with a $625,000 Transportation Alternatives (TA) Grant application, which was approved for funding by OKI Regional Council of Governments. The project includes the connection of an existing bike path at Fleckenstein Park, extending it 500 feet south along Mason-Montgomery Road. The bike path will also be extended 3,100 feet along Bethany Road eastward to an existing path at Windemere Way. The project was proposed in continuation of the effort to increase travel alternatives in Mason. The extension of this bike path will improve mobility within Mason and improve connections between neighborhoods. Additionally, TEC provided the preliminary engineering for this project.
