Dayton-Springfield Freeway Management System (PID 77249)
TEC completed design of a regional Freeway Management System for the Dayton/Springfield region, encompassing more than 80 centerline miles on I-70, 75, 675, US 35, SR 4, and SR 49. The system includes 56 CCTV cameras, nine Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) for disseminating traveler information, five Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) systems, and a combination of leased line/wireless communications technology. The project is conducted in accordance with the ODOT PDP process.
