Plainfield Road Pedestrian Crossing Study

TEC conducted a pedestrian crossing review on Plainfield Road in Sycamore Township, Ohio. Our project team completed sufficient field work at the project location in order to conduct a full existing conditions diagram, including signage and sight distance requirements. TEC also conducted an analysis for the completion of the Hamilton County Pedestrian Activated Sign Form. Crash reports were obtained from Sycamore Township from 2012, 2013 and 2014 so that TEC could develop a crash diagram for the project location. An Existing Conditions Diagram was also developed based on the completed field work along Plainfield Road. The recommendations included the installation of a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB).
